A Smile Reconnected
During a World Hearing Day event, Clinico Hearing met Mr. Wang, 75. Brought reluctantly by his daughter, he hadn’t spoken or left home in five years due to hearing loss.
After screening, he tried a hearing aid. Hearing traffic and voices, he whispered, “So this is ‘lively’.”
Today, he plays chess and tells jokes at family gatherings. His smile has returned.
Impact: We screened over 200 seniors; 30+ isolated individuals like Mr. Wang now reconnect with family through early intervention.
