During this Ear Care Day event, the team established a hearing testing service area to conduct hearing screenings for residents; set up a medical insurance policy consultation zone to promote ear-related services and medical insurance policies; and created a specialized ear care service area to explain the health benefits of auricular acupressure, perform auricular acupressure patches, and provide personalized ear care recommendations based on dietary and lifestyle habits.

This event utilized the Ningbo dialect version of the digital triadic audiometry tool for hearing screening, effectively eliminating language barriers for many elderly individuals unfamiliar with Mandarin.After taking the Ningbo dialect test, 82-year-old Grandma Li couldn’t stop smiling:’ I usually can’t understand Mandarin clearly, but this test is much easier!’
