Screening camp and reel challenge

Description:

A hearing screening camp was organized at Town Hall, Mysuru, on 3rd March 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, in observance of World Hearing Day. The program primarily focused on children while also catering to individuals across all age groups. Audiologists from various institutions and private practices actively participated in the camp.
A total of 10 audiologists and speech-language pathologists (SLPs) were involved in conducting the screening. The camp benefited approximately 70 individuals with hearing concerns, including 20 children and 50 adults.
In addition to the screening camp, a Reel Challenge was conducted for students and professionals. Participants were invited to create short reels on the theme “Hearing Care for Every Child.” A total of 10 entries were received, reflecting an encouraging level of participation from students.
One reel was selected as the best and was featured on the official Instagram page of MyISHA to promote awareness. The selected reel emphasized the importance of early identification and timely intervention for hearing loss in children. Furthermore, selected reels were screened in front of an audience comprising students and parents, enhancing awareness and engagement within the community.
