Hearing week in Aragón

Description:

From 25 February to 3 March 2026, Federación AICE celebrated Hearing Week, a campaign to promote the importance of hearing health and accessibility. This initiative started on International Cochlear Implant Day (25 February) and came to an end on World Hearing Day (3 March).

AICE ARAGON has promoted the illumination in red of emblematic monuments throughout Aragon, such as the Aljaferia Palace in Zaragoza, the Diputación Provincial in Huesca and several fountains in the city of Zaragoza.

Informative posters have been distributed in several cities in the territory, such as Teruel, Zaragoza and Gelsa. These materials were displayed in public spaces to reach as many people as possible and raise awareness about hearing care. The campaign also relied on the collaboration of local authorities and community centres to support the dissemination of these messages.

Information tables have also been set up to raise awareness about hearing health at the Hospital Clínico Universitario Lozano Blesa de Zaragoza.

As well, with the participation of around 100 people walking, plus a few more who contributed but for various reasons did not actively participate, the 2nd Cochlear Implant Walk was covered a 6 km route around the town.
