As part of the 2026 Remoc’s Comer Family Safety Fair, the University of Chicago Medicine Audiology team will participate in this annual community outreach event to promote pediatric hearing health. In alignment with the World Hearing Day 2026 theme, “From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children – Act now so no child is left behind due to ear or hearing problems,” our team plans to distribute WHO campaign materials and provide education on early identification of hearing loss, school-based hearing concerns, and access to hearing care resources. Through community engagement and family-centered education, we aim to raise awareness about the importance of timely hearing care to support children’s academic success and overall well-being.
