Taslpa World Hearing Day 2026
Description:
With respect to the World Health Organization’s World Hearing Day theme, Team TASLPA and UACA successfully conducted a Free Hearing Screening Camp at MS Creative School, Hyderabad.
Nearly 200 students were screened, and a few were identified with hearing loss and earwax issues. The reports were officially handed over to the Principal, who sincerely appreciated the efforts of Team TASLPA and UACA for organizing such impactful camps at the school. She also expressed happiness to be associated with our organizations in the future and is looking forward to conducting many more camps across all branches.
The camp was graced by the presence of our Hon’ble President Dr. Nagendra Kankipati, Hon’ble Secretary Dr. Imad Khan Ruman, Hon’ble Treasurer Dr. Arif Shaik, and our member Dr. Ramesh.
Following the camp, an Awareness Walk was conducted with 200 students to spread public awareness about ear and hearing problems. Both the screening camp and awareness walk were highly successful.
We requested all our members to actively organize month-long awareness programs during March 2026 to spread more awareness about ear and hearing health and highlight the importance of audiologists.
We also introduced a special slogan to the students:
“A for Audiologist.”
The students participated very enthusiastically and proudly learned that A is not only for Apple, but also for Audiologist. This is truly one of the proudest moments for all of us.
