Title: Hearing Health Promotion at CEN-CINAI
Al title (for format and translation – not permanent:
Hearing health promotion at CEN-CINAI
Description:
Develop activities that inspire behavior change to protect hearing from early childhood, using approaches tailored to preschool populations. Empower girls, boys, pregnant women, and breastfeeding mothers enrolled in the 630 CEN-CINAI centers, both intramural and extramural, together with their families.
The objective is to disseminate key messages through written and digital materials, while implementing hearing health promotion activities in the centers with children attending the different service modalities. This ensures national coverage and impact, strengthening awareness and preventive practices across the country.
Importantly, messages must be adapted to the specific population groups to maximize relevance and effectiveness. Tailored communication strategies allow:
• Preschool children to understand and adopt healthy habits in a playful and engaging way.
• Families to reinforce protective behaviors at home.
• Pregnant and breastfeeding women to receive guidance aligned with their unique needs.
• Regional and local teams to contextualize interventions according to cultural and territorial realities.
By adapting messages to each audience, the initiative ensures greater resonance, equity, and sustainability in promoting hearing health nationwide.
