World Hearing Day March 3rd, 2026: From communities to classrooms, hearing care for every child
Description:
Subject: World Hearing Day – 3 March 2026
Warm greetings from Vishakha Speech and Hearing Center!
We are pleased to join the global community in observing World Hearing Day on 3 March 2026 — a day dedicated to raising awareness about hearing health and the importance of early intervention and care.
This year, the World Health Organization (WHO) has chosen the theme:
“From communities to classrooms: hearing care for all children.” This theme emphasizes the importance of ensuring that every child has access to hearing care — from early detection and prevention to timely support and intervention — so they are empowered to hear, learn, and thrive.
World Hearing Day 2026 highlights:
• The need to prevent avoidable childhood hearing loss through community action and health education.
• The importance of early identification and appropriate care for children with ear and hearing problems.
• How integrating hearing care into school health and community programs can make a profound difference in children’s educational outcomes and quality of life.
At Vishakha Speech and Hearing Center, we are committed to supporting this mission through screening camps, awareness programs, educational initiatives, and community outreach.
We invite you to join us in celebrating this important day — to advocate for hearing care for every child, and to make a positive impact in our community.
