Impactful Story:

To mark World Hearing Day, awareness resources and an activity plan were shared with 17 schools around Fiji. The materials were designed to help teachers conduct simple and engaging awareness sessions on ear health and hearing care.

Teachers, parents, and children participated in the activities throughout the day. Schools held morning talks on ear health issues, helping children understand the importance of caring for their ears.

Students also took part in interactive awareness activities, including a coloring competition and a fun “draw big ears” activity. These activities encouraged participation and helped reinforce key messages about protecting ear or hearing concerns.
