Protecting hearing, enhancing safety—3M Ear Care Day offline event in 2026

Description:

On March 13, 2026, 3M China Personal Safety Division joined the Beijing and Shandong Acoustical Societies and several professional organizations to host the “Hearing Health Care for Employees” event in Qingdao. More than 180 representatives from universities, research institutes, enterprises, and occupational health agencies participated.
Speakers highlighted the growing importance of hearing protection in the workplace and the role organizations play in raising safety standards. Experts from leading institutions and 3M shared practical insights on hearing‑loss prevention, occupational health management, audiometry implementation and hearing protection standards.
A key moment of the event was onsite interactive fit test demonstration by 3M™ E-A-Rfit™ Validation system. Participants were able to experience how fit‑testing works and see first-hand the impact of proper wearing techniques on protection performance.
3M China Team and partners also showcased the latest hearing protection products, noise‑measurement tools, attracting strong interest from attendees.
The event created a valuable platform for sharing best practices and supporting the continued advancement of hearing protection across different industries in China.
