in commemoration of world hearing day, the ñahendu program of the fundación visión, under the motto “from the communities to the classrooms,” development activities on march 3rd and 4th at basic school No. 7440 san Miguel, located in the mbocayaty neighborhood of san antonio, at the corner of pascacio bernal and san Francisco streets, asunción, paraguay.
during the event, 135 children and 5 teachers received services, participating in evaluations that included otoscopies and screening audiometry tests, as well as educational talks with interactive games for the students. As a result of the evaluations, two cases of hearing impairment were detected and referred to the appropriate clinics for treatment.

One case of acute otitis media and one case of chronic otitis media with effusion were detected and successfully referred to and treated at the Vision Foundation clinics, with complete resolution of the cases.
