This activity was held to commemorate World Hearing Day, broadcast live on Radio Republik Indonesia (RI) and the Radio Republik Indonesia YouTube channel. It lasted 60 minutes.
The theme was “From Community to Classroom: Building an Inclusive Ecosystem for Ear and Hearing Health.”
We recommend this education for three fundamental purposes:
Breaking the Stigma: “Hearing loss is not a sign of weakness or a barrier to achievement. We are here to ensure that every individual, both children and the elderly, has the equal right to communicate without shame.”
Encouraging Early Detection: “Many hearing disorders are invisible. Through this education, we want to encourage the community and teachers in schools to be brave enough to conduct early screenings for their students. Because hearing early means acting sooner.”
Building Protection Awareness: “In an increasingly noisy world, we need to learn how to protect our most valuable asset. From limiting earphone volume to creating a hearing-friendly school and work environment.”

If it’s bothering me, what kind of treatment should I undergo? Should I consult and have an examination? Or should I use hearing aids or other treatments that can restore my hearing?
