Worldwide, over 275 million people are estimated to have moderate to profound hearing loss in both ear. Children with hearing impairment often experiences delayed development speech and cognitive skills, which may result in slower learning and difficulty in progressing at school. Hearing screening using the screen-H application is an action to screen for the risk of hearing loss in school children, this action is to minimize the occurrence of hearing loss in school children.This activity was carried out at SMPN 5 Bandar Baru, Pidie Jaya regency, Aceh. The activity was also accompanied by counseling for school children and screening examinations were carried out using screen_H on 20 male and female school children, and from this screening it was found that no children had hearing problems.
