Hearing loss continues to be one of the health issues in our country, affecting children, adolescents and adults. The onset of some hearing disorders has decreased in age. Affected hearing and vestibular system problems often rise together, impacting the life. Our team has established firm connections between patients with hearing, vestibular and sleep disorders.
Our team has been working on the mentioned idea for more than 7 years and continues, aiming to raise awareness among the society and gain the attention of the policymakers. We continue with patients’ examinations in hard-to-reach areas of the country and regular free prophylactic campaigns at least twice a year.
The free prophylactic hearing examinations of children, adolescents and adults from North-Eastern Bulgaria this year will be held in the period 17 – 27.02.2026, after booking a free check-up appointment in advance, on the premises of Sector “Audio-vestibular medicine”, University medical and dental center, Medical University – Varna.
