Description:

To mark World Hearing Day (March 3rd), the Hearing Neurobiology Laboratory at the Sols‑Morreale Institute for Biomedical Research (IIBM CSIC‑UAM & CIBERER) and the National Museum of Natural Sciences present an outreach and participatory activity to explore the science of the ear and hearing.

Through three interactive sections, we will discover how the auditory system works in animals and humans, what causes can lead to hearing loss, and what strategies exist to prevent it and care for hearing health throughout life. This experience is designed to spark curiosity, deepen understanding of hearing, and bring to all audiences the importance of good hearing, from biology to health.
