As a fully online national organisation supporting families of deaf and hard-of-hearing children, we are mobilising our parent community to raise awareness of World Hearing Day in their local schools. We are encouraging families to start conversations about hearing health and inclusion and have developed practical suggestions for schools to implement, along with a pro forma letter parents can use to engage their child’s school. Through our online network, we aim to amplify awareness and promote inclusive, hearing-friendly school communities across Australia.
