This event is a joint one with World Defects Day at ALSEPNEO (both commemorated on March 3rd, every year). As congenital deafness is one of the most common sensory congenital disabilities (1.6- 6 cases every 1.000 infants) we are committed to show that early intervention is the way for better outcomes, access to education and social integration. As an Interdisciplinary based Association, we will invite, as speakers a music therapist, educators, nurses, surgeons, speech-language-pathologist, occupational therapist. Tge focus will be settled in early intervention and rehabs services, leading to inclusive education services.
