Description:

Hearing screening and ear cleaning for elementary school students in Indonesia
This event involved conducting hearing screening and ear cleaning services for elementary school students in Indonesia. The program aimed to identify early signs of hearing impairment and address common ear health issues, particularly impacted earwax, which may interfere with hearing and learning performance.
Students underwent basic hearing assessments to evaluate their auditory function. Those found to have excessive cerumen buildup received appropriate ear cleaning procedures performed in a safe and hygienic manner. In addition, brief education was provided to students and teachers regarding proper ear hygiene and the importance of early detection of hearing problems.
The activity was designed to promote better ear health, support academic performance, and increase awareness about hearing care among school-aged children.
