Audiomax led multiple events in collaboration with various partners including the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, Zimbabwe Association of Audiologists and Speech Pathologists (ZAASP) and Zimbabwe Society of Otolaryngologists (ZISOL). Free hearing screenings were conducted for all ages. Awareness and advocacy was done through continuing medical education (CMEs) seminars as well as a mini-marathon. Press coverage for the main commemoration was done at Munyoro Secondary school with a hearing impaired resource unit and relevant stakeholders such as teachers, learners and the Ministry of Education were present.
