Description:

This event have highlights and promote the safe listening practice to avoid irreversible hearing loss in underprivileged population and also promote the cochlear implant surgery for those who are living in remote ares of Balochistan, Pakistan. Cochlear implant surgery with the help of government of Balochistan only for deaf and mute child under the age of 5 years to restore their hearing and develop speech for the betterment the future of that children’s .
In that cause the Helping Hands BMC Balochistan promoting the awareness of hearing loss and also doing hearing screening in healthy population to detect the hearing loss. On the 3rd March,2026 we along with the director of cochlear implant project with team and Administration of civil hospital quetta we celebrate and walk or awareness along the banner of ear and hearing care and also did mapping of 40 plus cochlear implant recipients

There were father’s of cochlear implant children and one of them named Muhammad Abrar he said that “when I hear my son voice I feel like my world is complete with joy and happiness because when he didn’t get cochlear implant surgery that time he was not able to respond any single word or even on his name and now he able to understand and react that’s lots of me and my family
