The World Hearing Day program will begin with a street-play in a popular tourist destination that will be followed by a rally, to ensure a message to the community on ear, hearing loss and rehabilitation with focus on childhood hearing loss. The program will also include competitions for undergraduate Medical students – meme making and poster making, thus actively involving social media platforms and also an awareness in medical students & health-care personnel. The Department of ENT, KoIMS also intends to continue year-long screening & hearing assessment in schools.
