Awareness talk to Asha workers of the community health care center and the general public in Yenepoya Medical College Hospital. A month-long free hearing and otological evaluation camp in collaboration with the Department of Otolaryngology, YMCH to spread awareness regarding early identification and intervention of hearing-related disorders is in progress. Free Speech and Hearing camp at a government school for the general public, including Otoscopic Examination,Pure Tone Audiometry, Immittance Audiometry, screening of speech and language and swallowing deficits. Activities are being planned for children with cochlear implants and hearing impairment to promote inclusion, listening skills, and communication development. Additionally, as part of Tinnitus Awareness Week, an e-poster-making competition was conducted for students, and the results will be formally announced. The selected posters will be displayed on the screen to raise awareness about tinnitus and hearing health. A walkathon will be conducted involving all Speech and Hearing colleges to promote awareness about hearing health and communication disorders in observance of World Hearing Day.
