Yusheng Hearing promotes World Hearing Day 2026: Protect your hearing, grow up healthily.
Description:
On March 3, 2026, to celebrate World Hearing Day, Yusheng Hearing held a vivid hearing health science activity for 200 preschool children at Kindergarten, themed “Protect your hearing, grow up healthily”. Teachers used colorful picture books and funny cartoons to give simple lectures, explaining the ear’s structure as a “magic sound receiver”. They demonstrated sound vibration vividly with a small speaker and salt—when soft music played, salt grains jumped rhythmically, surprising the kids and helping them understand sound’s origin. They also taught kids to avoid picking ears (as it harms the eardrum) and stay away from loud noises like firecrackers, ending with a lively mantra to deepen memory.
After the kindergarten activity, a community science popularization event followed, attracting over 50 participants, including local children and elderly residents. Volunteers set up a simple booth, using professional otoscopes to check participants’ ears gently, pointing out common issues like earwax buildup and advising on proper care. They explained practical noise-avoidance tips: reducing headphone volume to 50% or less, keeping distance from loud appliances like blenders, and wearing earplugs in noisy places. They also distributed illustrated science booklets and leaflets, designed with simple words and pictures for both kids and the elderly to easily grasp hearing protection knowledge.
Additionally, the Yusheng Hearing team assisted the local hospital in a free hearing clinic. Team members helped sort and distribute科普 materials to every attendee, guided people to the hearing screening area, and operated simple screening equipment to detect potential hearing problems early. For elderly participants with hearing loss, they patiently adjusted and demonstrated suitable hearing aids, explaining how to wear and maintain them. They also maintained on-site order by arranging neat queues, answering questions politely, and ensuring the clinic ran smoothly, bringing convenience and professional help to all attendees.
