Professional ear care for all, protecting hearing health together — HuiCong Auditory & Aikonex 2026 National Ear Care Day charitable donation campaign
Description:
Event Date: March 3, 2026
Event Location: Dream Town, Yuhang District, Hangzhou
With the intensifying trend of population aging, age-related hearing loss has become increasingly prominent, and the difficulties of “late detection, delayed intervention, and limited support” have emerged as key challenges, while the standardized use of hearing aids remains low. To genuinely address the hearing health needs of elderly individuals facing such difficulties, a charity event themed “Care for Your Ears, Warmth for the Heart” was warmly held, leveraging professional technology to empower humanistic care and bridging the “last mile” of hearing health services.
This event was jointly initiated by Zhejiang Yunshang Public Welfare Service Center, Healthcare Branch of Alibaba Alumni Association, Yuhang District Social Assistance Service Consortium, Huicong Hearing Group, AIKONEX AI Hearing Aids, Xiamen Yisheng Listening Technology Co., Ltd., actor Heizi (Zhang Yonggang), and E-powers, Alibaba Business School, among other caring partners, safeguarding hearing health through the warmth of technology.
During the charitable donation segment, Dr. Xu Weixin, Chairman of Huicong Hearing Group, stated that hearing aids should serve as a bridge connecting emotions with the world, hoping to raise society-wide awareness of hearing health and help people with hearing loss “hear clearly, hear fully, and hear happily.” Mr. Zi Xiangyu, Algorithm Engineer at Xiamen Yisheng Listening Technology Co., Ltd., introduced that Yisheng Listening Technology originated from a publicly listed company in the field of acoustic communication, adhering to parallel paths of technological innovation and public welfare. In this event, a total of 91 hearing aids were donated to Zhejiang Yunshang Public Welfare Service Center, and 10 hearing aids were presented on-site to representatives of elderly individuals in need from Yuhang District. Han Yanfei, Deputy Secretary-General of Yunshang Public Welfare, expressed gratitude to the caring enterprises and pledged to ensure the donations are delivered with transparency, accuracy, and precision.
Simultaneously, an expert-led public education lecture was held at the event. Dr. Xu Weixin delivered a talk on hearing health management across the life course, enhancing public awareness of ear and hearing care. Staff from the Yuhang District Social Assistance Service Consortium explained policies on assistance for people with hearing disabilities, making these welfare measures both understandable and accessible. A professional medical team provided hearing evaluations for elderly participants, achieving “zero-distance” delivery of hearing health care services.
Following the event, the project team will continue to monitor the adaptation and usage of donated hearing aids among the elderly through telephone follow-ups and home visits, providing professional guidance. The initiative will also extend to support elderly individuals in other regions, offering hearing aid fitting and hearing health services to more people with hearing loss.
By protecting hearing through science and spreading warmth through compassion, the campaign ensures that every individual with hearing impairment can clearly hear and enjoy the beauty of life.
