On March 11, Donglu Community in Jinzhou District, Dalian, was filled with warmth and compassion. As an important stop in Huicong Hearing’s chain of “National Ear Care Day” charitable activities, following the launch ceremony in Hangzhou on March 3, Huicong Hearing passed the baton of care to Bincheng, Dalian Jinzhou, bringing local residents a heartfelt initiative combining public education on ear and hearing care with charitable donation.
At the beginning of the event, Ms. Yan Hong, Secretary of Donglu Community, delivered an enthusiastic speech, expressing gratitude to Huicong Hearing for entering the community and caring for residents’ hearing health. She emphasized that hearing health is an important component of quality of life, and that Huicong Hearing’s “National Ear Care Day” charity campaign not only provides professional services but also conveys societal warmth.
During the expert-led public education lecture, Dr. Xu Weixin, Founder of Huicong Hearing, gave a lively presentation on topics such as hearing health management across the life course and safe ear use habits, and explained on-site the hearing subsidy policies for elderly residents, bringing these welfare measures directly to the hearts of the community.
To ensure that hearing health services are truly accessible, Huicong Hearing assembled a professional team of hearing aid fitting specialists, equipped with advanced devices, to provide free hearing screening for attendees, with a focus on groups such as elderly individuals in financial hardship, retired military personnel, and children. A seventy-year-old retired soldier expressed his excitement, noting how thoughtful it was to receive a free hearing evaluation with expert advice right in his neighborhood.
The highlight of the event was the charitable donation segment. Representatives of Huicong Hearing Group presented high-quality hearing aids on-site to two individuals with hearing difficulties in need. When the recipients put on the hearing aids and were able to hear clearly again, their faces lit up with expressions of surprise and emotion. Dr. Xu Weixin stated that helping people with hearing loss return to the world of sound is an unshirkable corporate social responsibility.
The Dalian Jinzhou station of the campaign concluded successfully, but Huicong Hearing’s “National Ear Care Day” charitable efforts will continue.
