As part of World Hearing Day 2025, KP PGPKT has provided 5 cochlear implant donations to the following recipients:
Jiro Arshaka (Makassar)
Underwent cochlear implant surgery on March 16, 2026, performed by Dr. dr. Harim and Prof. Eka.
Maheira (7-year-old female, Jakarta)
Diagnosed with profound bilateral hearing loss since birth.
Surgery performed by Dr. dr. Harim Priyono, Sp.THT-BKL, in collaboration with the Otology Division, Department of ENT, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Indonesia – Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM).
Embun (4.5 years old, Malang)
Has used hearing aids since age 2 and undergone speech therapy and Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT), with slow progress.
Cochlear implant surgery performed on April 4, 2026, by Dr. Artono and dr. Ahmad Dian.
Arsyanendra GF (2.5 years old, Jakarta)
Diagnosed with severe bilateral sensorineural hearing loss.
Has used hearing aids and received speech therapy and AVT, with no significant improvement.
Scheduled for cochlear implant surgery on April 6, 2026.
Haziqa (Palopo)
Scheduled for cochlear implant surgery in May 2026.
