Hear for Life: Empowering Young Voices in Secondary Schools for Safe listening and Hearing Health
In-school adolescents within a secondary school in Ondo State, Nigeria aged between 10-19 were properly sensitized on life building skills and Safe hearing which helps them to make informed decisions and also aid their hearing health. The students were over 300 comprising of junior and senior students and the session was delivered in an adolescent friendly atmosphere with the use of roleplays, icebreakers and visual aids (IEC materials).
There was appropriate feedback gotten from the students through the Question and Answer session which ensured a thorouh grasp of knowledge shared and the preventive measures highlighted to them.
