“Week of Sound Portugal 2026” is a national awareness initiative promoted by OUVIR – Portuguese Association of Hearing Aid and Implant Users, in partnership with international and national organizations linked to hearing health, accessibility and inclusion. Taking place in Porto, Coimbra and Lisbon, the event features conferences, cultural activities, live performances and debates focused on hearing health, noise awareness, assistive technologies, accessibility, inclusion and quality of life for people with hearing loss. The initiative is inspired by the global “La Semaine du Son” movement supported by UNESCO.
