Outline of the event:
Special care support network on 2march 2026 will engage with health care providers, caregivers, parents and children without hearing loss at Bulondo health centre lll in wakiso district mende sub county raising awareness and also promote the world hearing day message to them .
On 3rd march we shall camp in school that’s Trinity secondary school -bakka to promote world hearing day key messages to both the students and teachers as well.disseminate WHO information resources and reward active students/ children involved in any discussions that promotes hearing safety in schools and beyond.
5th march special care support network Uganda will meet with policy makers to discuss the out comes of the engagements that started on 2march 2026 ,the proposed local strategies mitigating hearing loss among children aligning with WHD theme 2026key messages and challenges and the proposed solutions .
6-7th march social media awareness activities promoting world hearing day theme.
