Outline of the event:

In celebration of World Hearing Day 2025, Zedquest Consultancy Limited, in partnership with the Zambia Institute of Special Education (ZAMISE), will implement an awareness campaign in Lusaka, Zambia, under the theme “Changing Mindsets: Empower yourself! Make ear & hearing care a reality for all!”

The event will feature free community hearing screenings, school outreach programs led by ZAMISE students trained as ambassadors, and a public forum to raise awareness about hearing health. Additionally, a radio talk show will amplify the message to a wider audience.

These activities aim to inspire early identification of hearing issues, promote the adoption of hearing aids and assistive equipment, and empower communities to prioritize hearing care. ZAMISE student ambassadors will play a pivotal role in reaching young audiences, fostering long-term impact. The event expects to reach over 7,000 individuals across Lusaka through its multifaceted approach.
