Project title: Sign language as a tool to improve health care in patients with hearing loss.

Outline of the event:

The proposed activity is a round table focused in the importance of developing and promoting knowledge of Spanish sign language, creating new words that facilitate and improve communication with health professionals, inclusion, education and scientific culture in people with severe hearing loss. Health professionals, researchers and academia members, experts in outreach, patients associations and decision makers are expected to participate in the round table and as public for an open discussion.
