For this 2025 WHD we’re going to reinforce hearing care and health with an inclusive and practical approach that empowers different hearing identities with the implementation of hearing accessibility requirements through a forum in the Mexican Deputy Chamber that will contain a practical and simple workshop within the International Hearing Day (March 3rd) framework by the World Health Organization (WHO), which this year is promoted under the motto of “Changing mindsets: Empower yourself to make ear and hearing care a reality for all!” Those thematic axes are:
1. Empowering Hearing Identities
2. Hearing Accessibility in Cities (showcasing a special 3D wall projection)
3. Other main tech based requirements of the Hard of Hearing people and others such as noise reduction and ear protection
4. Practical workshop implementing Hard of Hearing accessibility.
