The Special Activity Ear Care Unit initiative at Ratchaburi Hospital for World Hearing Day 2025, organized by the ENT staff and 31 medical students from Ratchaburi Medical Education Center, successfully provided essential ear and hearing care to over 200 participants. Through comprehensive ear exams and hearing tests, we were able to diagnose and treat ear conditions, offering follow-up care to 35 patients. The initiative received overwhelming positive feedback from participants, many of whom had never received such services before. This project not only addressed immediate hearing health needs but also raised awareness about the importance of ear care. Moving forward, we aim to expand this initiative to more remote communities, particularly those with a large elderly population, providing ear and hearing checks and care. The success of this project highlights the significance of collaboration between ENT staff, medical students, local communities, and healthcare providers in promoting better ear health.
