Project title: Making World Hearing day 2023 a reality event

AIISH, as a premier institute in the field of communication disorders, has several activities planned for World Hearing Day 2023 to promote and make ‘Ear and hearing care to all’ a reality. This includes Orientation/webinars/Training programs to general public; Talks/Messages/Reels/Short videos from Celebrities / Entrepreneurs, Leaders, Renowned professionals/Medical Doctors on Ear and hearing; Nation-wide Screening camps and distribution of free Hearing aids in collaboration with various stakeholders; Newspaper articles and advertisement; Rally/Marathon in collaboration with schools, Industries, Police officials and general public; and Conducting nation-wide competitions to promote the World hearing day messages in social media platform.
Further, with the support of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, proposals on developing standardized methods and screening tools; training of professionals through national level workshops; generation of epidemiological outcome reports; and the launching 11 Outreach Service Centers to cater individuals with communication disorders are also planned.
