Outline of the event:
Hearing NZ has the white cat as it’s symbol of hearing loss. White cats have a genetic predisposition for hearing loss. They have such developed coping skill that make it impossible to determine which ones have hearing problems and which ones do not unless they are tested- just like people! White cats know they are perfect the way they are- just like people!. We have distributed white cat pins on cards with hearing information to all members of parliment with a challange to test their hearing and post pictures of themselves with their white cat pins on both their social media and ours. We have also challanged our members to post pictures of themselves on our social media.
