Outline of the event:
The International Hearing Society will hold an Open House on Friday, March 1, 2024, celebrating World Hearing Day. IHS is inviting local members, hearing care providers, vocational institutions (career), and consumers to visit our new international headquarters in Farmington, MI, USA. IHS membership, education, and advocacy benefits will be presented in a small trade fair format. The future IHS Museum space in the new building will be decorated to celebrate World Hearing Day 2024 and promote IHS’ consumer awareness campaign, “Stay Connected With Life.” The event will also promote May is Better Hearing & Speech month to encourage hearing care providers to promote the importance of hearing care and the services they provide in their local communities. Public relations with local municipalities and press will supplement awareness of the open house event and announce the April 30, 2024, ribbon cutting ceremony for the new IHS headquarters.
