Outline of the event:
Through over 150 global cafés, a wealth of knowledge has been synthesized from conversations with thought leaders, including Dr Emem Omokaro, Dr John Beard, Dr Claudia Mahler, and Dr Ross Upshur, in fields such as ethics, ageism, vaccination, hearing and vision health, design and ageing, the evolution of geriatrics, technology, and innovations in long-term care, amongst many others. On March 1st, the hearing-theme-based “Global Café discussion with Dr Bec Bennett, entitled ‘changing mindsets: let’s make ear and hearing care a reality for all’ will focus on disseminating knowledge and raising awareness of hearing health, as we age. This activity will be complemented by social media promotion from the IFA for World Hearing Day.
