Outline of the event:
At the monthly hard of hearing community group meeting, we will have a craft session to celebrate World Hearing Day. To go with the theme of Changing Perceptions, we will be designing a badge which will encourage members of the public to ‘Change their perceptions’ around hearing loss. We will vote on the best badge and then get the winning badge made up to wear! This session will be ran by researcher Dr Kate Hough from University of Southampton who collaborates with Steve Beal who runs the group.
