March 2, 2024, Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery of Shanghai Ninth People’s Hospital, in collaboration with Qiyuan Kindergarten, Shanghai Second Hearing Impairment Education Guidance Center, jointly organized a public welfare event for hearing-impaired children in celebration of Ear Care Day.
The event, themed “Technological Hearing Assistance, Sharing a Better Life,” aims to promote the application of technological hearing assistance and provide more comprehensive rehabilitation services for children with hearing impairments and their families and communities
Director Li Yun conducted an on-site lecture on “Binaural Listening: Rediscovering Stereophonic Hearing – Bimodal Intervention and Bilateral Implantation.”
His team provided consultation services for families with hearing-impaired children, offering them assistance in hearing aid consultation and adjustment services. This event also offered free hearing tests for elderly residents of Qibao Village, aiming to detect and address hearing issues in the elderly early on and provide them with better recommendations for hearing rehabilitation.
