Project title: Awareness regarding prevention, diagnosis and treatment of Occupational Hearing Loss

Outline of the event:
1. Detailed talks will be given to people exposed to loud noise like industrial workers, traffic policemen, street vendors, drivers and conductors of public transport vehicles etc regarding hazards associated with loud noise and its regular screening and prevention.
2. Identification of level of noise at various places like busy roads, marketplace, industries/ factories etc by using mobile application and screening individuals working at these places.
3. Distribution of ear plugs/ ear muffs to those occupational workers who are exposed to loud noise.
4. Special talk will be given in schools on judicial use of earphones in young population.
