Brief description of the program:
SRESHT lab, Sri Ramachandra Faculty of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER) will conduct a public dissemination event regarding childhood hearing loss in Ariyalur , Perambalur and Kancheepuram districts of Tamil Nadu. This event is a part of SRESHT lab’s project activity to disseminate findings from the situational analysis conducted in phase 1 of study regarding needs related to childhood disabilities and readiness to adopt telepractice to bridge service gaps in childhood hearing and speech language disabilities.
In this event, we will use art forms (traditional folk music and dance) as a medium of sharing and disseminating information regarding childhood disabilities with emphasis on hearing loss. In addition, informational handouts will be given to the participants with highlighted key messages.
