Outline of the event:
The Hearing Loss Network is a Sonova employee resource group. Our vision is to create an inclusive workplace for people with hearing loss. For World Hearing Day, we are hosting a marketplace for Sonova employees with several stations. The stations will cover various components of audiological care. Employees will have the opportunity to get their hearing screened, hear a simulation of different degrees of hearing loss, learn how to read an audiogram, experience a demo with hearing aids in challenging environments, learn about hearing protection, hearing aids and cochlear implants, engage with audiologists and individuals with hearing loss, and more. We wish to bring people together to raise awareness and increase engagement. We will host marketplaces in Switzerland, Canada and the United States.
