Outline of the event:
We will organize school outreach to educate students about the importance of hearing health, signs of hearing loss, and preventive measures, with materials tailored to different age groups. We will launch a comprehensive and paid social media campaign utilizing relevant hashtags associated with World Hearing Day to disseminate vital information and raise awareness. Our campaign will feature a diverse range of content including informative posts, videos incorporating Sign Language. Webinar: we will host webinar led by an expert in audiology and hearing health, exploring the various aspects of hearing loss, exploring its impact on both individuals and society, available treatment options, and effective preventive strategies. with special consideration for Deaf parents. Collaborating with healthcare provider: we will offer discounted hearing screenings, promoting early detection and intervention. These initiatives aim to raise awareness, educate, and empower individuals to prioritize their hearing health, ultimately enhancing overall well-being.
