Outline of the event:
The Audiology department, Ministry of Health has planned two activities. The first will take place in the Foyer of the main referral centre in the country, the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation. During this activity, educational material on ear and hearing care will be distributed to persons traversing in and out of the hospital, and otoscopy will also be offered to persons interested. Persons will also be made aware of the services we offer throughout the country and how they can access these services.
We will also be traveling to a remote location in our hinterlands to distribute much needed hearing aids to our indigenous people who cannot afford to travel to access this care in the capital.
