Description: We organized an ear and hearing health camp involving quarry workers from administrative section to field workers. We managed to screen 35 workers, 1/3 of the total number of workers who will be screened in the next two similar camps. An awareness talk on noise-induced hearing loss (NIHL) and the importance of detection and prevention. It was then followed by an ear examination. Prior to these, a KAP (Knowledge, Attitude and Practice (KAP) questionnaire was distributed to assess their KAP scores.
