Description: We held the event entitled “To hear for life, listen with care- let us make our listening safe”. It was a joint venture of Office of Medical Services & Office of Sustainability for the Music club. It included an in-person awareness session on Hearing Loss and Safe Listening Practices and tips to communicate with people having hearing impairment to promote diversity and inclusion; followed by an active group discussion where the students raised concerns on hearing issues. The ‘hearWHO’&smartphone apps to measure sound intensity were demonstrated. The event reached thousands via social media.
