Title: Ear and Hearing care for All, Let’s make it a reality!
Description: One day free clinic was organized in a Rural Healthcare Center of village Muhammad Pura, district Nankana Sahib. Hundreds of people (including children, adults and adolescents) were provided with free ear examinations, hearing screenings, ENT consultations and audiological evaluations (PTA, ABR, Distraction tests). Awareness talks on New-born hearing screenings, ear and hearing care, hearing aid usage and safe listening were given to the general public. An Intra clinical activity including Doctors/ Audiologists and healthcare workers was arranged day before the camp to promote the hearing healthcare standards. WHO materials were used throughout the event and awareness messages were disseminated through different social media platforms.
