Title: Flood recovery volunteer hearing protection donation
Description: Cyclone Gabrielle caused a catastrophic flood on WHD. Volunteers spent days using heavy equiptment to clear slips, hearing was one more thing that they should not lose. Boxes of Hearing protection that was delivered by the NZ defense force. White cat pins and information on hearing loss and prevention were sent to each of the ministers in parliment to wear the pin in support. We received a letter from the prime minister, Chris Hipkins, as well as several other members of parliment. Launch of the antenatal class module was overshadowed by Cyclone Gabrielle and postponed until June. The module has been published on ParentCenter website and appeared in Kiwiparent magazine. This is distrurbed to over 30,000 people including all medical pratices. We will be launching the online version that can be accessed worldwide. Course material included diet, vaccinations, middle ear, medication and noise. In person tinnitus Seminar in Nelson.
