Title: Free hearing screenings for James Madison University students, faculty, and staff!
Description: The James Madison University Student Academy of Audiology offered free hearing screenings to students, faculty, and staff in celebration of World Hearing Day. Screenings were performed at the on-campus Audiology Clinic by first and second year Au.D. student volunteers. We were able to provide hearing screenings, follow-up recommendations, and informational materials to 65 participants! A video and newsletter article about the event, highlighting the importance of hearing health care, was featured by the University’s College of Health and Behavioral Studies.
