Title: WORLD HEARING DAY MONTH-EAR AND HEARING CARE FOR ALL
Description: World hearing day 2023 was celebrated at Aster clinic Al Khail over a month, culminating on 3rd March 2023. The activities involved sensitizing the target audience across all age groups regarding proper and safe ear care practices through extensive use of WHO resource materials. This year we could cater to about 3200 people with our various activities. Hearing screening was also done and people were encouraged to download the WHO app-Hear WHO for self checking their hearing. The importance of ear care was emphasized through distribution of leaflets, putting up banners at medical facility and hearing care learning and screening health camps at various places in coordination with our operations and marketing teams. Educational video was also released in social media. The healthcare workers were also sensitized regarding identifying at risk people. Prizes were also given away to patients for quiz and lucky draws conducted through out the month.
